Organization Description: Port City Home Services is a company whose primary goal is to support a social enterprise of not-forprofit long term care homes. We currently have approximately 80 employees and provide staffing supports to long term care homes and operate a number of services and programs to support the social enterprise.

We currently require the services of an Administrative Coordinator to support the day-to-day business.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day support of various programs and services. We are seeking an individual to join the team and support several components including the JRO EZ Rest Care Wedge, Ride Program, Foot Care services, and our staffing agency. The position scope includes:

 

  • Works with the team to provide administrative support such as reception and scheduling appointments for services.

  • Human resources assistant activities such as scheduling interviews, onboarding, and coordination of training and education.

  • Supports contracts for agency staff including some scheduling.

  • General administrative oversight of the office including managing the external cleaning contract.

  • Supports the administrative sales and shipping of the JRO EZ Rest Care wedge which will require the ability to lift 50lbs.

Qualifications:
 

  • 3 years experience with executive level administrative coordination and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • 2 years experience providing supports in a fast paced environment with responsibilities such as administration, scheduling, or human resources assistant work.

  • Supervising and managing staff would be an asset.

  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Proven efficiency working in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple demands. 

  • Proficient with the use of various software systems including Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Salary Range: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour
