Following the announcement by Honorable Tim Houston, Premier of Nova Scotia today, we wish to take this opportunity to again encourage our staff, along with all of our stakeholders, to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
 

Effective November 30th, 2021, the COVID-19 vaccine will be required for workers in the healthcare sector, including workers in long term care agencies and home care agencies. The announcement also requires that our partners in long term care restrict entry into their premises of anyone that is not fully vaccinated by November 30th, 2021.
 

We will be working on policies and procedures to implement these measures and will let staff know more in the coming days.
